REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be offered for registrations cancelled within 3 days of registration or up to 7 days before the scheduled class date. No refunds will be given for any other cancellations, including “no shows”.  Class registration is transferable - we just ask that you call in advance of the scheduled class so we can update our class list. 

The Kitchen reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class.  If this occurs we will contact you via email or phone and offer a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your registration to another class of equal or lesser value.

Participant also understands that in the event he/she fails to follow directions, is deemed to be of an inappropriate age, or deemed to be intoxicated by instructor or any other representative of The Kitchen, Participant will not be allowed to finish the course or remain at the event and will be asked to leave with no refund/class credit.

 

LIABILITY
The Kitchen is not liable for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property and/or equipment.  Participant understands that there are risks of this activity and assumes all such risks.

 

MEDIA RELEASE
Unless a request in writing is made in advance, The Kitchen has full consent to take photographs, videos and recordings during classes and events.  Any photos, videos, or recordings (professional or otherwise) taken by or on behalf of The Kitchen, or any third party, may be used for any and all commercial or business purposes without further written permission. In addition, The Kitchen and its successors, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives have the exclusive right to own, use, modify, and reproduce the images and recordings for any and all purposes worldwide, including but not limited to advertisements, marketing, print, and all commercial purposes and in all forms of media, without any credit and/or compensation (including royalties) in perpetuity. There shall be no right to inspect or approve any images, recordings, copy or printed matter associated therewith, and any rights of ownership are waived. In addition, Participant hereby releases The Kitchen from any and all claims under state or federal law relating to the use of Participant’s image, including but not limited to, infringement of the rights of privacy and publicity. Participant represents and warrants that he/she has the legal right to grant this release.

 

DRESS CODE
For your safety, we recommend that you wear closed-toe shoes.  In food preparation classes, long hair must be tied back.

 

AGE LIMITATIONS
No students under the age of 16 may register for or participate in classes, other than classes specifically offered for children. Any student between the ages of 16 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the class. 

 

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS/ALLERGIES
The Kitchen is not a nut, dairy, egg, or gluten free facility.  Participants are responsible for knowing their food allergies, inquiring about the ingredients in all dishes, and for declining any dishes that may contain any ingredients that they may be allergic to. The Kitchen is not responsible for any food related allergic reactions. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies.
